Director's Statement by Satpal Sharma
I was working on the script for quite some time with my friend and finally decided to shoot it on a holiday. The day was 15th August 2007. We completed the shooting in just 1 day and after that editing took a bit of time. I was targeting a 10 minute thrill ride with lots of twists. Something that baffles understanding and cannot be explained... hence the name Enigma.

it lagged a bit in starting... but once satpal mystery starts.. it really builds up... and in the end all i can say is a very good attempt... with just a few fine tunes in the script and it will be a great shorty...

this short movie is a good attempt by Satpal & friends. it keeps you hooked till the end until mystery is revealed...waiting for more short movies from you guys.

Wow !! The first word that comes to mind while watching this movie...To me its not a horror..the genre needs to be changed...its more of a Thriller. The movie is excellent...I particularly liked Saurabh's acting...though he needs a bit of grooming but he is a charming & handsome guy...I liked the way he was driving..looks pro...

• This movie is a good attempt to make the audience grab their seats. The script needs a re-work (not much but fine-tuning). It’s a movie made by heart which clearly reflects in the way the movie is shot. Amit to me is one person who really stands out, although his role is not much but he clearly leaves behind a good impression. I wonder was he actually sleeping at the time Saurabh wakes him??? ?. Nevertheless, it is a much watch. Thumbs up from my side.

• Good work done !!! All of them have done a good job, I really liked the way the movie is shot but at some points, the camera angles were not so good but I really admire the whole progress of the story. I have watched this movie more than twice & found this on Youtube as well. All those time, I was wondering the place looks familiar. Believe it or not I used to stay in the same society in which the movie is shot (Sagvi Apartments in Gurgaon). I would really like to see a lot from the team. All the best

• Three cheers for the Gang. Satpal is a good looking chap, very tall & handsome. I really liked one part in which the Saurabh comes down to grab a Dew & Satpal re-appears & at the same time a call is received..that was very well shot. Who was behind the camera at that time?...no other names of the crew. I would really like to see behind the scenes of this featured shortz (if any). It was a gripping movie & ending was a bit of a surprise but suited the genre of the movie.
You wont believe that when Iw as studying Film Production in University of Pune. I had shot the same story. Only difference was in the end my other characters does not die.
As an amateur film maker I understand the shot taking constraint. But in the similar set up things could have been made better. Your actors were fine but the problem was overuse of music. Broad daylight can create more horror if shot in less music. The last shot could have been a good long shot. But I am sure you can do much better work.

the genre says HORROr but to me it turns out to be a movie which makes me laugh.It was purely fiction +not horror +i found the movie funny.
needs more editing.the way you shoot is very typical- focus on the shoes +the car door opens focus on the feet............
i liked the end sub title IS IT THE END? the ques which haunts everyone AFTER LIFE...
in terms of story it was okay.
